PRIVACY POLICY

At Fleetwood Bank, the basis of each customer relationship, many of which span generations, is trust. You have chosen to do business with Fleetwood Bank, and we are obligated to honor that relationship with great care, beginning with the information you have chosen to share with us. We believe that your privacy should not be compromised. At the same time, we want to offer you the array of financial products and on-line services you need to accomplish your financial goals. We believe we can do both through the privacy policy outlined below.

Recognition of a Customer’s Expectation of Privacy
At Fleetwood Bank, we believe the confidentiality and protection of customer information is one of our fundamental responsibilities. And while information is critical to providing quality service, we recognize that one of our most important assets is our customers’ trust. Thus, the safekeeping of customer information is a priority of Fleetwood Bank

Customer Benefits of Fleetwood Bank’s Information Management Practices
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms
  • Information we receive from processing accounts and transactions with us, our affiliates, and others
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, or from our website

We collect and retain information about you only for specific business purposes – and we will tell you why we are collecting and retaining it upon your request. We use information to protect and administer your records, accounts, and funds; to comply with certain laws and regulations; to help us design or improve our products and services; and to understand your financial needs so that we can provide you with quality products and superior service. Our Use of Information provisions explain these concepts in greater detail.

Maintenance of Accurate Information
We continually strive to maintain complete and accurate information about you and your accounts. Should you ever believe that our records contain inaccurate or incomplete information about you, please notify us at 610-944-7666 or by e-mail at dp@fleetwoodbank.com

Limitations on Employee Access to Information
At Fleetwood Bank, employee access to personally identifiable customer information is limited to those with a business reason to know such information. Employees are educated on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of customer information and on these Privacy Principles. Because of the importance of these issues, all Fleetwood Bank employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of customer information and employees who violate these Privacy Principles will be subject to disciplinary measures.

Protection of Information via Established Security Procedures
Fleetwood Bank is committed to the security of your financial and personal information. All of our operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects your account information from being accessed by third parties. We maintain and grant access to customer information only in accordance with our internal security standard.

Restrictions on the Disclosure of Account Information
It is the bank’s policy not to reveal nonpublic personal information about customer accounts or other personally identifiable data to non- affiliated third parties for their independent use, except for the exchange of information with reputable information reporting agencies to maximize the accuracy and security of such information or in the performance of bona fide corporate due diligence or business matter, unless 1) the information is provided to help complete a customer initiated transaction or to verify availability of funds for checks presented to merchants; 2) the customer requests or permits it; 3) we do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law, or 4) the customer has been informed about the possibility of disclosure for marketing or similar purposes through a prior communication and given the opportunity to decline (i.e., “opt out”).

Maintaining Customer Privacy in Business Relationships With Third Parties
When the Bank conducts business with third parties, it requires its vendors and suppliers to maintain similar standards of conduct regarding the privacy of personally identifiable customer information provided to them.

Internet Banking and Bill Paying
Fleetwood Bank uses a third-party vendor partner, Certegy, to provide a secure environment for Personal Online Banking. The online banking system runs on a Windows NT operating system at Certegy's Service Bureau with state-of-the-art firewall technology as the first line of defense in preventing unauthorized access to any information housed there. Included in the operating system is the capacity to allow only secure connections by end users. Utilizing 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, all transmissions of web pages and data between the financial institution and its customers are completely encrypted and are unreadable to any person our group trying to "intercept" the transmission. SSL encryption is the industry standard and is commonly used in Internet applications that require security and privacy for sensitive data. A digital certificate is issued between the Bank and the Service Bureau for daily data transmission.

Providing Privacy Information to Customers and Responding to Inquiries
Fleetwood Bank recognizes and respects the privacy expectations of our customers. We want our customers to understand our commitment to privacy in our use of customer information. As a result of our commitment, we have developed these Privacy Principles which are made readily available to our customers. Customers who have questions about these Privacy Principles or have a question about the privacy of their customer information should call Fleetwood Bank at 610-944-7666 or e-mail us at dp@fleetwoodbank.com
